Release Notes February 1st, 2021

In an effort to provide your organization with the best experience possible, Sourcepoint continually releases new features, updates, and bug fixes for our Consent Management Platform (CMP). Below are the most recent updates to CMP:

Update

System Templates vs Account Templates

Sourcepoint is excited to release a new way to manage message templates (First Layer Message, Privacy Manager, Adblock)! This update allows our teams to better service your organization while still giving you flexibility to maintain your own templates.

This update reorganizes templates into two categories that your organization can utilize when creating and editing messages:

  • System templates

  • Account templates

You will notice that when editing account templates, the vendor list components will not display. Instead they are shown with a (loading..) message. This is because there is no way to associate a property to a template at this time. Don’t worry, messages built with the template should preview normally in the builder.

First Focused Item Setting for Message Text

In order to help your organization meet accessibility standards, message text can now be configured as the first focused item.

With Sourcepoint's new Show Stacks for Consent Only? setting in the Privacy Manager builder, your organization can choose for which legal bases you want to display stacks in your Privacy Manager.

Change Log Improvements

To help your organization troubleshoot even faster, we have implemented new changes to our logging of actions taken in your account so we can surface that information to you in the Change Log quicker.
