Configure Default Legal Bases for Custom ATP Vendors
Admin access or Domain access to property (property group) with feature access to vendor list management.
Your organization can customize the default legal bases for custom ATP vendors so that legal bases are automatically decided every time a custom ATP vendor is added to your GDPR TCF v2 Vendor List.
Alternatively, when custom ATP vendors are added to a GDPR TCF v2 Vendor List, you can also use their declared legal bases for purposes. In order to do this, you will first need to add the IAB vendor Google Advertising Products to the Vendor List.
Click GDPR on the top navigation bar and select TCF v2 from the dropdown menu.
Navigate to a Vendor List on the subsequent page and click Edit inline with the Vendor List name.
Click + Add Vendor.
From the subsequent modal click the Custom ATP Vendor tab and then click Configure Google ATP Purposes and Legal Basis.
If the IAB vendor Google Advertising Products is already added to your Vendor List you will be able to select Use Google ATP Vendor Defaults to automatically set a custom ATP Vendor's legal bases.
If Google Advertising Products is not added to your Vendor List or you would rather determine your own legal bases for custom ATP vendors, manually declare the legal basis for each purpose in the dropdown menu.
If you decide to change the defaults, make sure to include at least Purpose 1 with a legal basis of Consent. There must be at least one other consent based purpose to ensure the vendor is included in Additional Consent Mode. If you do not have at least one other purpose, Google may not consider your signal valid to process data.
Click Apply when finished.
