Custom Purpose for GDPR TCF v2 Vendor List

A Custom Purpose on a GDPR TCF v2 Vendor List is a configurable purpose created by your organization and can be applied to vendors on your Vendor List. In this article, we will cover how to:
Custom Purposes which are configured by your organization are distinct from Special Purposes which are configured by the IAB. Click here to learn more.
Navigate to an existing GDPR TCF v2 Vendor List by clicking GDPR on the top navigation bar and selecting TCF v2 from the dropdown menu.
Navigate to a Vendor List on the subsequent page and click Edit inline with the Vendor List name.

Add Custom Purpose to GDPR TCF v2 Vendor List

From an existing Vendor List, click + Add Custom Purpose at the bottom of the page.
Use the subsequent modal to input a Name and optional Description for the new Custom Purpose. Click Create purpose when finished.
The Custom Purpose will be added to end of the purpose column. Set the legal basis for the new Custom Purpose for each vendor in your Vendor List.
Click Save when finished.

Edit Custom Purpose on GDPR TCF v2 Vendor List

From an existing Vendor List, click the name of the Custom Purpose from the header of the vendor table.
Use the subsequent modal to edit general settings, consent actions, and reject actions. Save any edits made by clicking Apply changes.

Delete Custom Purpose on GDPR TCF v2 Vendor List

From an existing Vendor List, click the name of the Custom Purpose from the header of the vendor table.
In the subsequent modal, click Remove. The Custom Purpose will be deleted from the GDPR TCF v2 Vendor List.
